The cities of Rajasthan still reverberation the past grandeur of the princely states of Rajasthan which are imitated in their superb forts, palaces, temples and mansions. However, every city of Rajasthan has been distinguished for its characteristic features which are inimitable in themselves. Some of the well-known cities of Rajasthan that magnetize the tourist while they travel around the Indian tourism are Jaipur which is commonly recognized as the Pink City of India also well-known for City Palace, Amer Fort and Hawa Mahal; Jodhpur which is recognized as the Blue City as of the blue painted walls of the houses; Udaipur recognized by different names like “White City” “City of Lakes” and “Venice of East” which is eminent for its lakes, palaces - Lake Palace Hotel; Jaisalmer also recognized as the “Golden City” famed for its golden fort, made of sandstone; Dungarpur which is recognized as the City of Hills renowned for Juna Mahal; Ajmer is well-known for Dargah of Khwaja Mu'in-ud-din Chisti and Ana Sagar Lake. Several other well-known cities of Rajasthan are Chittorgarh, Jhalawar, Kota, Kumbalgarh, Mount Abu, Nathdwara, Pushkar, Alwar, Banswara, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Bundi, Ranakpur, Sariska, Ranthambore, Shekhawati etc. that fascinated the tourists to explore the concealed beauty of these cities of Rajasthan.
